This Year at SIGGRAPH 2017, Radeon™ Pro graphics and Ryzen™ processors will join forces to put on a show in collaboration with many of our partners including DELL, HP, BlackMagic Design, Adobe, The Foundry, Autodesk, Unreal Engine, and much more preparing an exciting showcase just for you.
Are you attending our Capsaicin event? Make sure you are also registered for SIGGRAPH. (Use code: RADEON17 for your free exhibit-only pass from us!) AMD will be hosting a booth right near the entrance at booth #301 so be sure to walk through our demos for a chance to win some exciting (and unique) prizes. Rules and regulations can be found at the bottom of the page under endnotes!
Are you into Rendering? Creating? Or perhaps Post Production?
If you’re involved in today’s demanding workflows for 3D content creation, you’ll know that there’s just never enough time before that deadline lands.
Radeon™ ProRender is a powerful physically-based rendering engine that enables creative professionals to produce stunningly photorealistic images. We recently released our Radeon™ ProRender Plug-in for Blender™ 2.78 and higher that you’ll be able to check out a demo of at our booth, along with the latest updates to the Radeon ProRender Autodesk® 3ds Max® and Autodesk® Maya® Radeon™ ProRender plug-ins. New features include the ability to assign rendering resources to your GPU and CPU simultaneously and support for X-Rite’s Appearance Exchange Format (AxF™). Click here for more details.
Render: One of the biggest bottlenecks in everyone’s pipeline, CPU rendering with engines like Arnold or V-ray is by its nature CPU-hungry. As you’ve seen AMD understands rendering, whether it’s GPU or CPU, we have the tools for your pipeline.
Post-Production: As the saying goes, ‘just fix it in post’; but that means that post is often the busiest department when it gets closer to that dreaded crunch time. This is why we have teamed with Adobe® and Foundry to help ensure whichever is your tool of choice for polishing pixels, we have a solution for helping hit that deadline faster. With Foundry, we have worked closely with them to help ensure Nuke 11 now benefits from OpenCL™ aware graphics cards. This means that complex visual effects using GPU-aware tools can now be accelerated with Radeon graphics cards on macOS®, Linux®, and Windows®. What’s more, this isn’t just for Nuke, but NukeX and Nuke Studio also benefit. Looking at our extensive collaboration with Adobe, if you’re working with Premiere® or After Effects® with 8k footage, you can now make use of a Radeon™ Pro SSG card for very high frame rates, which allows large datasets and footage to be processed interactively at rates far higher than existing GPU memory currently allows.
Check out two booths at SIGGRAPH 2017 where AMD RadeonTM Pro Products are powering new technology.
NEXT Computing: Powerful, Practical, Portable. Come and see the EDGE T100 & P100 workstations powered by AMD Radeon™ WX 7100 and AMD Radeon™ Pro Duo GPU technology. These streamlined, high-end, high-performance computers are ideal for creative professionals who desire to produce VR content, animations, photo realistic renderings and CAD designs. These workstations will be exclusively showcased at the Wacom booth in conjunction with their state-of-the-art Cintiq & Cintiq Pro line of touch sensitive draw-on tablets.
BOXX: The BOXX APEXX 5. At SIGGRAPH 2017, in booth 901, BOXX will be demonstrating this platform featuring four AMD Radeon Pro Duo dual GPUs with 3ds Max and Chaos Group’s award winning V-Ray RT OpenCL GPU accelerated rendering engine. Demos will include real time clips from Kevin Margo’s short film ‘CONSTRUCT’
