Here at AMD, we continue to build out our Radeon™ Pro Software ecosystem to meet the evolving needs of today’s professionals. We’re committed to open, non-proprietary software, and we deliver rigorously-tested stability, comprehensive certification, and world-class user satisfaction. Today we are introducing new updates and integrations for top professional applications, disrupting the market with cost-sensitive solutions for the professional M&E community.
The latest version of Cinema 4D from MAXON is now available for purchase and shipping. With its native integration of Radeon™ ProRender, Release 19 is the first major application to integrate cross-platform GPU rendering based on OpenCL™ open standard, offering a fast, easy, stable and streamlined workflow designed to serve individuals and large studio environments. Cinema 4D R19 will be making its European debut at the MAXON booth in Hall 7, K30 at IBC2017.
For the past few years, Adobe has integrated the Cineware Live 3D pipeline, a key component of Cinema 4D, into After Effects, offering improved workflow and greater performance. We are excited that users can now get access to AE integration of C4D R19 that will allow them to be able to use Radeon ProRender ray-traced GPU renderer from within After Effects. This will effectively allow AE users to be able to create and render accurate physically-based 3D models with C4D leveraging the compute power of the GPU from within their AE environment.
The Foundry’s Nuke 11 and Avid Media Composer 8.9 have implemented OpenCL programming techniques to improve performance of effects rendering. While these OpenCL enhancements will run on any graphics card that supports OpenCL 1.2, AMD’s engineering team played an important role in the OpenCL development effort, giving modern AMD FirePro™ and Radeon Pro graphics cards fantastic performance in these applications.
Come join us at IBC 2017 where you can see demos of these solutions and more. Visit our booth at IBC Hall 7, Stand 35 and witness how Radeon Pro is the right solution to choose for today’s most demanding professional workflows.
